PostoHub provides personalization tags to accommodate all types of dynamic info. You can paste personalization tags into email campaigns in order to add dynamic or customized content. The list below displays some tags you can use.
Subject Lines
The following Personalization tags display information pertaining to your audience, their contact info, today’s date, and a lot more. They are typically used inside of subject lines. However, they are also usable in the email body.
{{first_name}} – The first name of a subscriber is inserted if it is available.
{{last_name}} – The last name of a subscriber is inserted if it is available.
{{email}} – The email address of a subscriber is inserted.
{{created_at}} – The date when a subscriber was added or imported into PostoHub (The output will be in the ISO-8601 format like 2007-12-03).
Email Footer
Personalization tags like these capture your subscribers’ essential information via your account’s Required Email Footer Content. Although they were developed for a PostoHub campaign footer, you can use them anywhere you want.
{{unsubscribe}} – Provides subscribers with an opportunity to take themselves off your email list. This tag will add the HTML table with message “If you no longer wish to receive these emails you may unsubscribe at any time.”.This is required by the Terms of Use, as well as by law.
{{unsubscribe_url}} – add this tag as link to any words in href tag. The system automatically added unsubscribe link. It might looks like “Unsubscribe from all Startup School emails” Or “Stop receiving emails”
{{sender_address_block}} – It’s you personal or company address. This tag will add the HTML table with sender address info. This is required by the Terms of Use, as well as by law.
{{sender_name}} – Your organization/company’s name is inserted. Your audience have to know from whom they get email. This is required by the Terms of Use, as well as by law.
When using custom code for your templates and campaigns, it is imperative that you design a readable and clean footer – one that includes any required info as per the Terms of Use and anti-spam regulations.
You’re required to include your contact information, including a physical mailing address, inside every promotional email you send in order to comply with anti-spam laws such as a CAN-SPAM and CASL.
