Why do you need adding the sender?

You’re required to include your contact information, including a physical mailing address, for each promotional email you send in order to comply with anti-spam laws such as a CAN-SPAM and CASL.

You can’t send promotional email without adding “Sender“. Be sure you added {{sender_name}}, {{unsubscribe}}, {{company_address}} tags to your email template, otherwise we will add a HTML section to each your email template.

When using custom code for your templates and campaigns, it is imperative that you design a readable and clean footer – one that includes any required info as per the Terms of Use and anti-spam regulations.

Personalization tags like these capture your subscribers’ essential information via your account’s Required Email Footer Content. Although they were developed for a PostoHub campaign footer, you can use them anywhere you want.

{{unsubscribe}} – Provides subscribers with an opportunity to take themselves off your email list. This is required by the Terms of Use, as well as by law.

{{company_address}} – It’s you personal or company address. This is required by the Terms of Use, as well as by law.

{{sender_name}} – Your organization/company’s name is inserted. Your audience have to know from whom they get email. This is required by the Terms of Use, as well as by law.
